Life behind Enchanted Farie Designs has been a little quieter online, but behind the scenes, it has been anything but quiet. 💕🌈

Oh, friends… where do I even begin?

This summer has been one of those seasons where everything seems to happen at once.

There were boxes.

So. Many. Boxes. 😂

There was packing, moving, unpacking, reorganizing, settling into a new home, adjusting to new routines, and trying to remember which box contained the one thing I suddenly needed immediately.

And, as life sometimes does, a few unexpected bumps came along with all of that, too. The kind that make an already-full season feel even fuller.

For a little while, life simply needed more of my attention, so I made the decision to put Enchanted Farie Designs on summer break.

But something pretty wonderful happened during that time.

I started falling in love with creating all over again. 💕

🌸 The Shop Was Quiet. My Sketchbook Was Not.

Even though the website was taking a little summer rest, my creative brain apparently did not get the memo.

I was drawing, sketching, experimenting, learning new things in Procreate, spending more time in Illustrator, turning my drawings into vector artwork, and playing with new color palettes.

There was also plenty of changing things...

and changing them back. 😂

Slowly, I started seeing a new version of Enchanted Farie Designs taking shape.

Not a completely different brand.

Actually, quite the opposite.

It started feeling more like me than ever.

Pastel pinks. Soft blues. Happy little rainbows. Stripes. Smiley faces. Bows. Books. Cute animals. Sweet sayings.

And all those tiny details that make something feel just a little more special.

I stopped worrying quite so much about what I thought I should be designing and started creating more of the things that genuinely made me happy.

And THAT changed everything.

💕 Cute Things for Happy Days

If you've visited the website recently, you may have noticed a new little message:

Cute things for happy days, made with love + pixie dust. ✨

That feels like the perfect description of where Enchanted Farie Designs is headed.

I'll always love stationery. Give me a beautiful notepad, cute sticky notes, and a good pen, and I'm a happy girl. 😂

But I've realized that what I really love is creating little things that make everyday life happier.

The sticker that makes your water bottle feel more you.

The bookmark that makes you smile when you open your book.

The notepad that makes your never-ending to-do list a little more fun.

Or that tiny gift you see and immediately think:

“Oh my gosh, she would LOVE this.”

That's what I want Enchanted Farie Designs to be—a happy little corner filled with colorful things that make ordinary moments feel a little more special.

Which brings me to something NEW...

I've waited long enough!

The NEW Keychain Collection launches September 25, 2026 at 7 PM CST! 💕

Seeing these designs go from an idea...

to a drawing...

to artwork on my screen...

to something I could actually hold in my hand...

was such a surreal small-business moment.

Because they don't feel like something I simply decided to add to the shop.

They feel like Enchanted Farie Designs.

They're colorful, cheerful, playful, and filled with the little details I love, from the gold-tone hardware and happy illustrations to perhaps my favorite detail...

🌸 A tiny Enchanted Farie Designs flower charm.

Seeing the name of this little business I've built attached to something that began as one of my drawings feels incredibly special.

It's a tiny detail.

But to me?

It's huge.

🌈 Carry a Little Happy

One of the first designs you'll see is my Pastel Smiley Face Keychain, soft rainbow stripes, a big happy smile, gold-tone details, and that sweet little flower charm.

It's approximately 2" × 2.25", made from durable alloy metal, and has a key ring and swivel clasp so you can clip it onto your keys, purse, tote, backpack, or favorite bag.

I've found myself using the phrase:

“Carry a little happy.”

And I think that's exactly what these are.

Small. Cheerful. Completely unnecessary in the very best possible way. 😂

Sometimes making something you use every day a little cuter is reason enough.

✏️ I've Been Learning, Too

This summer, I also decided to push myself creatively.

I've spent countless hours in Procreate and Illustrator learning more about vectorizing my artwork, refining my lines, experimenting with brushes and colors, and developing a style that feels unmistakably mine.

And there have been MANY:

“WHAT DID I JUST DO?!” moments. 😂

If you use Illustrator, you understand.

One click and suddenly something has disappeared, merged, moved, flipped, expanded, clipped, or done something absolutely nobody asked it to do.

But then there are the moments when it finally works.

When the drawing in your head actually appears on the screen, and you zoom out and think:

Wait... I made that.

I'm still learning. Still experimenting. Still figuring things out.

And I hope that never changes.

🐿️ And Then There Are the Squirrels...

It wouldn't really be life behind Enchanted Farie Designs without them. 🐿️💕

They've continued providing plenty of entertainment, interruptions, and completely unsolicited creative supervision.

Apparently, sitting quietly while I work is not included in their job description. 😂

But so many of my ideas come from the sweet little pieces of everyday life around me, books I'm reading, animals I love, things my family says, a color combination I notice, or a random doodle that turns into something unexpected.

That's one of my favorite things about illustrating.

You never know where the next idea will come from.

And if you start seeing a few more squirrels popping up around Enchanted Farie Designs...

Now you know why. 🐿️💕

💗 This Feels Like a New Chapter

This summer has been beautiful, messy, busy, exciting, exhausting, and incredibly creative.

Sometimes all before lunchtime. 😂

But somewhere between packing boxes, rebuilding routines, setting up my creative space again, and filling page after page with ideas, something clicked.

Enchanted Farie Designs feels different.

Not because I'm leaving behind what I've created.

I'm simply allowing it to grow.

There will still be notepads, sticky notes, bookmarks, stickers, greeting cards, gift tags, and stationery.

So much stationery. 💕

But now there will also be keychains.

New illustrations.

Other happy little things.

And plenty of ideas I haven't even thought of yet.

That might be what excites me most.

When you support a small creative business, you're supporting so much more than the item that arrives in the mail.

You're supporting the hours spent drawing, samples that didn't work, colors changed fifteen times, packaging decisions, late-night ideas, and the happy dance when something finally turns out exactly the way I imagined.

And occasionally, the woman staring at Adobe Illustrator asking:

“WHY WON'T YOU JUST UNITE?!” 😂

Every order, message, comment, share, and kind word matters more than you know.

This summer gave me the chance to slow down, regroup, learn, create, and think about what I want Enchanted Farie Designs to become.

And now?

I'm ready for what's next.

Here's to new chapters, fresh ideas, pretty pastels, lots of stationery, a few squirrels, brand-new keychains...and all the happy little things still waiting to be created. 💕✨
